jkmf73 I've been experimenting with a Humbrol colour to suit my Russian stuff for years. I've never been able to buy 114 so don't know what it was like, but like others here I'd pretty much settled on 86. I didn't like using it though as I tend to use it on everything and it makes my model cabinet pretty b... markvs I assume they would be a heavily oily wood. Generally a hard wood would be used, but there may have been shortages, resulting in the use of pine? in which case a lighter oily wood colour.
If any sleepers had been replaced, I assume also a lighter colour, but still oily. gremlinz Cheers guys. I figure the first thing I need to do is get it all together, then lay it out and fine tune it.
