We'll see what the final kit looks like but the drawings look exactly like Doyle's drawings and I have a sneaking feeling they photoshopped his drawings together. I have shelves of Tamiya, Italeri, etc. armor and have simply airbrushed the tracks with Tamiya acrylics. Some of these armor kits are thirty years old (I'm 63)and show no deterioration of any kind.

Matt | |) davegee Hi All: as an update, I just got a letter from FineScale Modeler magazine today that they have purchased my story on the P-47 builds above. I was a little disappointed that they didn't use my suggestion for title: "A Nice Pair of Jugs" to a more mundane "Converting a P-47D to an M," but that's showb... warlock0322 Don't know the exact size in scale but for 1/48 scale I use 20-22 gauge hypodermic needles depending on the gun. If all else fails and you can always hold the kit barrels up to the tubing to get as close to the size as you need.( done that a time or two myself).
