USS Texas...
The Niko 1/700 USS Texas, 1895. The kit was built basically out of the box with caenis line and stretched sprue rigging. Although a nice kit, it required more than the usual amount of fitting and adjusting, particularly with the front and rear platforms and the masts. Floquil paints were used, and the bowcrest was sprayed Alclad polished brass. As with almost all Niko kits, it contains virtually everything needed to build a really nice rendering of an early US battleship.
Thanks! Take care, Bob Cicconi

Nicely done, Bobby, and it puts me in mind to build one of my Great White Fleet kits - those white and buff schemes really stand out.
Cheers,

Can only agree with Mr. Fulgoney, very attractive build, but the quality of the pictures somewhat lets it down a bit, being a bit too blurred/unfocused for my taste.

Nice one Bob, love the shape of the hull and reminds me of those old WW1 battle fleet photographs looking at a big fat squashed hull lunging through the sea, there are so many resins ships out there, but so few plastic kits, and with such a wide product line, I often wonder why company's don't produce more in 1-350/1-700 of the old WW1 ships of the line from across the navy world.

Thanks for the nice compliments! My photography is definitely not one of my strong suits, though!
