Hi.
This is my first post, so please be kind...
I'm planning an S-100 with a little "rust", and would like to know if the boat itself was built or covered in metal.
I know the S-100 had a lot of metallic parts (bridge, railings, etc), but I would like to find out exactly where and if metal sheets where used...
Best,
Riccardo

Ahoy Riccardo,
Welcome to Model Shipwrights!
As Mr. Ford has stated, those two books do contain some great info and photo's, and there is also a great amount of information available on the WWW, as well...search "Scnellboot S-100" and you'll get some amazing results!
Keep Modeling!

Thanks, I knew the site.
What I'm specifically looking is what I market in red and green on this picture...
I think that what's red is metal sheet. What's green... I have some doubts
Does somebody have a clue?

No sir ...
They were wooden boats, with metal in their framing and, of course the Kalotte bridge ...
