Im about to start the Revell 1/48 Swift Patrol Boat Kit and was wondering if anyone could point out any building tips/build ideas etc?

Also are there any aftermarket sets or bits and pieces I could use?

Welcome to Model Shipwrights, mate!

First off, don't EVER be afraid to post here in our forums...we're a friendly bunch of salts, old, and young, and we don't bite (Gator sometimes does, but hey, it's his nature! )

Naw, seriously, we're a good bunch of guys who all have one thing in common, and that's the love of building models, mate, so welcome aboard....Revell's Swift Boat, eh?...been a LONG time since I meself built this one, and from what I do remember, it was a straight forward build, but alas, as it is an old kit, lacks modern detail...and I don't know of any a/m accessories available for this particular one, so you may have to scratch-build any details that you may want.

We have a campaign here at MSW going on right now, the Riverine Military Craft campaign, and you may find some help by following this thread, and talk to these river rats, right HERE!
