Anyone make any good sized, and detailed Japanese I-boats? Also, are they cheap?
Thnaks!

Aurora made a model of the I-19, the big sub equipped with a seaplane hanger. It was subsequently reissued by Monogram. I'd look for it in a Revell of Germany boxing now since they reissued the Aurora/Monogram SSN Skipjack just recently for about $7. Nichimo also makes an I-boat as well. I believe I've seen it at my local shop and I think it's in the $10 range. I am unsure of the scale.

The Nichimo I-boat is scales at 1/200. My brother built one years ago and it was also motorized. Looked like an easy build at the time and looked like an I-boat.
