Hi All,

Do any of you remember exactly how the very rare Revell PT-190 "Jack'O'Diamonds" looked like? I remember - as a very small boy - looking up on a shelf in my Uncle's house and seeing a built up kit of this and seeing a 20mm on the bow, roll-off torpedoes and a radar mast. I only saw it once and on the way out of the house and I never saw it again and that kit always intrigued me.

Do any of you remember how it looked?

Hi Garth...

Is it this one (not mine):

I know that this is an old Revell model (not 1/72)
An old friend of mine offered me one of this, of his stash a few years ago, although now, is in my stash
It needs some work to make a update decent model, imho (but workable!!!).

Hi Rui.

Nope, that's Revell's PT-212 kit, but I must say, whomever's that is; they certainly did a good job on such a bad kit.

The 190 was an incarnation of the 109 kit. That kit was released as the 109, 167 and the 109.

PT Boats Inc at www.ptboats.org
The guy's have a lot of info & photo's I'm sure 1 of them can help you with what you need.
They were very helpful when I built my PT174 Zebra.

Yeah, I would ... thanks ... but that board is mostly about the boats, not the models, although I've noticed more of an influx of model stuff now. I might try that.
