Very nice build Ed, just when I think I'm over the desire to add that kit to my must have list, I see a sweet build like yours and I'm tempted all over again. Al

Ed, NMF stands for Natural Metal Finish, and I agree with Kenny, yours is very nicely done. Al (P.S. Good luck with those typhoons)

hi al and jim, thanks for the information. yeah the typhoons really hit us very hard. some parts of luzon is still flooded..even ricefields and other agricultural land all laid wasted. hardest hit this year. anyway..we're picking up the pieces and moving on. thanks for the concerns and prayers. thank you all. ed

The boot looks great! I have just started my own boot. Can you please tell me more about the colors you have used? I can't seem to find any info about the colors, only Italeri's own color brand, and there is no conversion chart for it...

Great looking torpedos.......
Can you give a brief description as what you used and how you got them looking like that?

Thanks

hi fire captain, paint the torpedo with flat black all over as base color. then dry brush it with..gold for the torpedo head and silver grey for the body and fins. you can use different shades of metallic depends on your taste. just as along as...the first coat should be black or darker color.

thank you..and cheers..! ed

hi everyone..! finally i got my resin kits and started feeling to build again. i rarely do resin kit but this one for the love of finishing the S-boat. first examinning the inside of the box..what in store for me...looks full and instructions give me the 'how to..build details....

well the life raft seems to be small but lots of details.

gun shield kinda heavy and thick compared to the italeri's..

all four has casting scars..luckilly it's located on the side facing the box assembly.

the life raft looks okay..!

any tips on building would be greatly appreciated..comments are welcome. thanks everyone.

That is a really smart looking build you have going there. I love the mines, must add the set I bought to my build instead of letting them gather dust Keep the photos coming, I am enjoying watching this build.

Very nice work indeed.

Inspiring in fact.
