This build will be Artesina Latina's " Mississippi River Boat " kit. Out side of a few minor errors in material and instrucItions, the build is going smoothly.
We'll start with the hull. I was'nt planning to do a build here , so Ican't show the steps in the construction of it.By the way this kit is not for a beginner

All of the wood has been sealed, and then satin varnish coated, either washed or painted, then matt varnish top coat. All coatings are water based.

this is the main deck with a black wash from the Detailer. I covered the whole deck with the wash then after it dried I took some Q tips and wiped it all off. It gave a nice worn look, although this picture does'nt show it that well
this is the stable builiding being glued to the main deck

Now the second deck can be attached. This deck differs in planking pattern than the main deck. They use a Herringbone pattern. You have to be very careful when laying the planking
or you might end up to far starbord or to far port.
Well thats it for now. Will be back when I get a little farther along.

Update on Riverboat
[]
I decided to give this model a more weathered look rather than what the box art showed.
when finished I'll add alittle more weathering. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks for looking.
