Hi folks,
I'm scratchbuilding a ship at the moment which features some rather large glass panels on the bridge. At the scale they are about 5mm square. I can't use acetate or a clear material as the model isn't hollow (it's a master for resin casting.) I don't think the usual black or grey paint job is going to look very good at all, so I'm wondering if any of you guys have any tips for creatung a convincing look on the windows? I'm thinking possibly a colour gradient of some sort, but I'm not sure about which colours and composition. Any ideas?
Will.
