This will be my first attempt at a ship model (1/350 USS THE SULLIVANS DD-527 1945)...would like to know Model Master equivalents:
Gunze: HAZE GREY 53
NAVY BLUE 54
COCOA BROWN 17
DECK BLUE 365

If you want accuracy..... ::vague waving motion::

There are no direct MM equivalents... you can buy matched paints from White Ensign; available through various companies depending on your location. The FS system many MM paints are matched to came about after the WWII colors were discontinued, so they never came up with matches for the WWII colors.

Now, if you're weathering.. these paints did fade and chalk....

Or, if you REALLY want to use MM paints and be accurate, you can buy the USN paint chip set from Snyder & Short and mix your MM paints to match the S&S chips, which are accurately matched to the original paints.
