I'm getting ready to install PE safety netting around a helicopter landing deck on a navy icebreaker. My question is: what color would be suitable for this? I think the netting is made from different size lines or perhaps something like nylon or canvas webbing.
Thanks
Jim

Hi Jim

Portuguese Navy safety nets are white or very light gray
Here are a couple of shots taken by me, from a Japanese Self Defense Maritime Ship (in white):

Depending on the scale, IMHO you can have them in the same color as the Tamiya Primer (Gray)

Hope this helps
Cheers,
Rui

If you are talking about the horizontal safety nets around the flight deck, when I was in they were made out of unpainted wire rope. (spent a few nights sleeping in them-- with an interesting story about one of them!)
No idea what they use now.

Thanks for the replies. Based on the photos provided it looks like an off-white, perhaps, with a thin darker gray wash, just to show a little weathering.
