Just started the Hasagawa 1/350 Nagato, seems to be going ok, I purchased the White Ensign Photoetch set. Anybody who has built this kit have any tips or problems that they encounted? I just primed the hull so I have not got to any actual building yet...Thanks

You may want to check out this thread on the Nagato class over on another site. There is also a WIP progress thread here and one here.

I completed a Nagato build using the Hasegawa kit a few months ago...one thing I did was fill in the (reversed) plating engraving on the hull.

Pls see my build log here:

http://www.shipmodels.info/mws_forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=88978

Pls feel free to ask any questions...and other than the offending excel speadsheet-look hull engravings, the kit is beautiful and fits together extremely well. I hope you enjoy your build! -Tim
