Hi All: I am new to this forum and site. I was told of it by a friend in TX. and am glad I did. I am making the HMS Bounty, wood ship model and have been building it for 14 months now. Thanks to my grnadson, I have had to repair it several times! But soon it will be finished. I was taught this great hobby at the VA Blind Center in CT.. " There is nothing we can't do!" is their motto and I am proof of it. I am fitted with special optics, just for me, and I am able to "muck" thru it. I will have the wife get some pictures up so you can see the progress. Again, thanks, and will keep all apprised of it.
BillQ.
P.S. I am a resident of Massachusetts, retired military ( Army).

Bill,
Welcome aboard Shipmate!!! I have always loved the wooden sailing ships, but never had the nerve to build one. Looking forward to seeing your build.
If you have any questions just give us a shout and we will do our best to answer them.

Hello Bill, welcome to the site, I will be looking forward to seeing your work. I don't know if you are aware of the IPMS Wings & Wheels club in Massachusetts. They have a website and they put on a really good show, that takes place in the spring. Al

Hello William - welcome! I hope you post some pics of your Bounty. I'm fairly new in here myself, but pretty much building plastic kits. I do have an old Scientific wooden kit of the Bluenose I work on now and then. Hurry up and post so I can get some pointers. Cheers!
