Coming along nicely !

How is it reacting in water - being a little/light model I would guess it will be quite lively sailing ?

Hi Daniel,

Looking good, Particulary like the waethering.

I presume from the Italian recognitian stripes on the foredeck this is depicting a boat operating in the med.

would be grateful if you could point me at any references showing the red anti fouling, S Boats are not usual subject, and i will be building one of this class next year, my limited material shows all black below the waterline.

Want to make sure I get it right.

many thanks Si

Hello Simon, .....Thank you for looking at my humble work.
There is the very much material one in the net on these Schlleneboot but my modals are 3 books .......

S-BOOTE German E.boats in action

Ship Craft German S-Boats

Squadron Signal *18

I recommend to you DVD " Stukas of the see "

The recognitian stripes on the foredeck....Yes they are from the Mediterranean .. and of the Black Sea too.

My S-100 never take part in the Mediterranean it belonged to 8. Schnellbootflottille emphasized in Norway
But I decided to paint them to recognize her better in the lake of the park
Je Je a low mistake assent

"Rot" anti fouling or "Black" real its dark grey .schiffsbodenfarbe III Grau #1
And the two are correct!! Normally the first ones are "Black" and "red" is more late
Simon ....Next year?? ... 20 days?? Jajaja Excellent

In this time I shipyard S-100 1/35 Italeri and turning RC......next post

Daniel is spot on Simon, I did my Italeri s-100 with red anti fouling too:

The air recognition stripes are med/Black sea specific but I was sorely tempted.

Ahoy Daniel

I like your completed S-100 very nice indeed.

I also really like your completed early S Boat from the Malta setting.

You have finished it very nicely.

Love to see some more pictures.

Cheers

Cracking pair of builds Daniel, love the weathering, gives the boats a real hard worked feel.

A fine build Daniel, they make an interesting contrast in design and you can see the lineage of the S-100 class in the Airfix kit. Al

Daniel, some very impressive work! The weathering is spot on. Tough to get that just right, not too much, not too little, but I think you nailed it. Great reflection of what those boats must have looked like after some hard service and not a lot of time in the maintenance yard. Congratulations on some great work.

Thank you very much friends as the comments.
They are beautiful fast boats were receiving very much punishment since they are " horse of batlle " and were not stopping very much in his ports ......
I have 2 kits Rebell waiting to enter to the shipyard ....... with one I think cut it away and it makes S-150 Class an buy another S-Boot Airfix an make to S-38 ..........
but he would need more time jajajja

And in the English Channel!!! Jejejej
