The friendly postman just came by with these darlings:
Now, the Z-31 is not mine to keep, as it goes on to a friend, but a look inside the box made me drool like mad and wish that I had ordered one myself...
The little Cannon Class is for the Dual campain next year where it will be opposing an AFV VII C. Its a collaboration between Pit Road and Trumpeter which is seen from the kit layout and detaillevel - some of the frames are marked "England".
The Benson will soon find its way into the workspace - its a sweet little kit - unfortunately its without part "Y" - the upper hull, which is a problem I hope Dragon Care soon solves....
I think this winter will be the winter of the destroyers
Cheers/Jan

Yes, we might have a tin can winter. I have a decent number in my stash as well.

I like these destroyers - in 1:350 they are a perfect mix of a decent size, level of details, affordability and buildability...
The fact that I know next to nothing about US tin cans matters less ...
Julian - my drugs comes i colorful square cardbordboxes
Anybody else have some of Dragons new destroyer offerings ?
Cheers/Jan

Jan, nice collection there, especially the lower two.
I also think they have a great size in this scale and I certainly will do another on one of these days as I still have room next to my Missouri.... But first I should get back to my Independence...
Looking forward to your start!
Cheers!

I have the Dragon Z39 and the Trumpeter Z25. I like both kits and plan to get the other offerings from the two companies.
Plus, I have another new IJN DD kit, review pending.

Don't know if this counts as "new" but I have their U.S.S. Laffey and the 1942 Buchanan, both in 1/350. I also have the U.S.S. Gearing in 1/350 and I'm drooling over the Chevalier. Seem like great little kits with, as has been said, the right mix of size, buildability, and above all, detail.
