A decade ago, I was 1/700 builder and eventually shifted to 1/35 armor. This is my first time to handle a 1/350 and eventually intricate detailing. I'm rather skills-challenged in this area.
I will be building a 1/350 Phil Navy destroyer escort (BRP Rajah Humabon); (ex-USS Atherton DE-169). I've already got the Pitroad kit and I've seen the degree of modifications to be made.
I need advice on which PEs / white metal are best for :
single 3'/50 mk22
twin 40mm Oerlikon Mk.1
single 20mm Oerlikon Mk.4?(new type -- the ones with tripod)
single .50-cal HMGs
hatch and doors
Accommodation Ladder
mast ladder?
life raft and ring
stowed lifeboats and racks
Extras are no problem, as I'm planning additional 1/350 builds with similar fit.
