Is this a new tool or a shared release of Gallery Model's New York?

That is a fair question, and based on the photos that have been made publicly available I would have to say no. While the breakdown of the kits is very similar, it is not identical and the molded details differ between the two kits.

The Bronco model is a joint effort with Dragon and Cyber Hobby.

The Gallery model is a Trumpeter, Acadamy, Revell thing.

They are different. Different number of parts, detail, etc.

I have both kits.

The equipment included in the Bronco is:

2 x LCAC
2 x AAV-7
2 x MiA1
2 x HMMWV (M-1114)
2 x Harrier IIs
2 x MV-22 Opsreys
2 x CH-46 Sea Knightss
2 x MH-53E Sea Dragon
2 x MH-60 Helos

The Gallery Equipment :

2 x LCAC
1 x LCU
2 x AAV-7
2 x AH-1H Cobra
2 x MV-22 Osprey
2 x CH-46 Sea Knight
2 x CH-53E Super Stallion
2 x UH-1H Hueys

In general, the Gallery/Trumpeter model is more detailed with more parts than the Bronco/Dragon model. Sort of generally similar to the types of differences you see int eh Flight IIA Arleigh Burke models by both companies (Dragon and Trumpeter). For example, the interiors of the hanger bay and well deck are more detailed with the Gallery model than the Bronco model, but, on the other hand, the Bronco model also does come in a two part hull making the waterline version an easy while the Gallery model is a single piece hull and you would have to cut it to get the waterline vesrion.

I will buuild both as a part of a 1/350 scale ARG which will include the Gallery KHD-7 Iwo Jima and Tico, a Burk, LCS-2, Independiance, and a Perry calss frigagte, the Rueben James by Acadamy. My two San Antonio Class will be the New York and the Sommerset.
