Hello all. I've been modeling over 35 years and built a few ships in that time but after building tamiyas 1/350 new jersey, am totally hooked on ships. I just purchased the Dragon USS Independence and am having trouble figuring out correct colors. I was wondering if anyone knows a book avaliable that has full color photos or computer generated photos like the ones put out by Kagero that features the Bismarck among others. Any help would be appreciated. Anthony.

DML USS Independence Feature
For reference I can recommend the Still Motions Potographics CD, reviewed here.
For colors I can recommend the Lifecolor sets reviewed here and here
Looks like I learned a lot for this build! And I did...
Cheers!

The color call outs on the instruction sheet are correct - 5-O Ocean Gray for her shakedown cruise and 5-N Navy Blue for her war cruises in 1943. You can buy matched colors from White Ensign, life color (some color accuracy issues) and Model Master in both Acrylic and enamel (these are newer lines, not carried by all retail shops.
