I am working on a Knox class frigate (specificaly FF109, USS Truett) and was wondering what is the appropriate color for the red on the hull?

Hi Jesse: The correct colour for your hull is a spray can of Duplicolor automotive red oxide primer. This is very close to the original lead based red oxide primer that was used on the real ships. I recommend decanting it and spraying it through an airbrush. Bob
