Thanks for this, Mark. It's rare to see these pre-dreadnought era ships. I consider myself lucky to have been able to see the USS Olympia.
To see Mikasa and the Aurora would be two big bucket list things for me.

What a great bunch of pics, thank you! I plan to do a Mikasa model some day, and these photos will be very useful. I love that it was American sailors from the NIMITZ that painted her up recently!

Was Yokosuka a target for bombing during the war? It is amazing that she survived being such a sort walk from Yokosuka's gate.
