Years ago, I got into card modeling. One of the 1st things I built was a 1/700th HMS Dreadnought. I was smitten then as I still am today by the lines of this powerful warrior.
I know it has already been done here, but it is what I am working on right now. So I thought what better way to introduce myself than while building this wonderful kit.

A few more photos for your viewing pleasure. I have pretty much ran the gambit, I have modeled in about any and every way one can build. And I have now returned to where it all started, ships! So I am now after many years away from them, once again building those marvelous engineering wonders known as Battleships. so now on to the build. I was just floored by all the stuff/aftermarket directed @ the ship builder/kits. I am most impressed w/the amount of PE and those oh so beautiful wood decks. I hated painting decks, no matter what I did, they never looked correct.
So with that said, a new tool just f/PE, well to be honest, severial were purchased, but this one makes the differance on those square bends.

Ahoy Rick

Great stuff indeed.

I gather its the 5.5 inch Hold and Fold you are using?

Looks like a handsome tool indeed.

Cheers

Checking fit of Pontos decking material. This really brings the model to life.
