Fantastic review Todd. I was already seriously thinking about getting one and you've sold me.
I seriously doubted anyone would make an affordable Hunt-class in plastic. Thank you IBG. With luck this is just the start of many more naval subjects.

Thank you Stephen...I am glad to hear you found the review helpful. There are a coupled things you could improve on...mainly the main guns, but certainly a fun kit and worth the effort...especially with the interest in the subject! Enjoy! Check out the IBG site for pricing compared to other vendors near you...the kit looked cheaper through them, but I was unsure about the shipping.

Nikko Models makes some very nice Mk.XVI 4" gun turrets in resin that would really improve the kit. Inexpensive and come in packs of 5. I used one to replace the aft turret on a Trumpy Tribal, along with their set of 4.7" turrets to replace the main guns. If I can dig them out I already have my replacements. I thoroughly recommend Nikko products if you can get them.
