Hi Fraser

I would venture to suggest the Russians would use any paint they could get their hands on ...

Given a choice, I would go off white with perhaps wooden floor boards.

Also started this kit and scratched an interior. Reference photos are hard to come by. Found these pictures on a Russian model building site.

Might help a little. Al

Glad to help. I'll have to take some pix and figure out how to post them. I used to use Photobucket and had to switch. Still having trouble posting from the site that I'm using now.

Took me awhile to figure this out, hope it works.
Success, sort of. Can't figure out how to make pix larger.

Forward gun tub.

Also lengthened torpedo 'troughs'.

Got as close as I could to the real thing, but used a little "Imagineeering" also. Al

Been having problems uploading photos myself lately. Used to use Photobucket, but had to switch hosts. Can't seem to get the hang of using the new site. Hope to see some pictures from you in the future. Planning on going back to my G-5 soon. Al
