Thank you for this outstanding review! Photographs of the parts are of course clear and helpful, but including images of the completed model really tells the story. Excellent job!

I believe Kajika also do a kit of her sister ship, KONGO, which was the first of the class and constructed in the UK. The Barrow Dock Museum have several photos of her under construction which can be seen on-line. They also have the original builder's model on display - scale 1:48. No, I haven't missed a digit, it's freakin' HUGE...
