Guys I just received my ship building plans for the LCT and LCM and now I am wondering if there are any good books out there that have some good photos for detailing. I usually build 1/35 armour so my library has no info on these ships. I plan on building them in 1/35 and adding both Tanks and Men of the British forces landing on D-Day. As the scale is so large the more detail the better.
Thanks to all in advance for your help.
Sean

Hi.
I recently finished a 1/35th scale LCM6. I have mailed some pictures of it to the gallery but they haven'y appeared yet. I have some interesting plans and photos of the interior. Please get in touch if I can help,

Hi Matt,
The plans I have a copy of came from the Admiralty via a friend who helps organise MAFVA (Miniature Armoured Fighting Vehicles Assoc). They are side and plan views. I looked high and low for interior photos and could only come up with one overhead shot showing the layout of the control cabin (wheelhouse?). There are a large number of photos available on the web, especially the Australian War Memorial and the US NARA sites. These invariably are ‘in action’ shots from the Pacific and I haven’t seen many of them before (and I deal in second hand military books). Highly recommended!
Send me your address via email and I will photcopy the plans for you
