Greetings all.

I was wondering if any one would know of a UK supplier that would stock model ship accessories.

I need to source some accessories for my LCI's. Model Ships.com has some useful items by Billings Boats but they like all the companies I've found on the web so far are in USA and as I don't use credit cards this makes overseas purchase difficult.

Thanks

White Ensign models is UK based. They make tons and tons of great stuff. I don't know about 35th. Check for goodies in the Lucky Models and hobbyeasy websites. But they may want just credit cards as well.

Thanks Steve,

I'm looking for a supplier that does rigging thread, lifebouys, fenders and small items that could be added to the kits. I'm sure I'll find one as long as I keep looking

Hi Skipper,

Thanks, I've seen some product by Billing Boats namely Rigging Thread and Life Preservers which will fit with 1/35 scale. Just trying to source a UK supplier.

I'll check out the site - again many thanks. Have you see my post for information on the LCA ramp?(ha ha).

Al

Update: Skipper I've tried their site but it must still be under construction because It shows little information so far. I remember you kindly gave it to me before but I hadn't bookmarked it for the same reason.

Hi Alan

Hmm maybe Rudolphe is "sleeping" and he didn't updated the site.
But if you see the news article, there are a few items that could do the job...
Email him and ask what he can do for you
No harm in asking

About your LCA question - no, I din't read it - but I am going to

Thanks Skipper,

I was e-mailing him as you replied to me. The Web site is hopeless but the products you reviewed look good.

I've been converting some Tamiya figures for crewmen - sea boots, jumpers and Steel Helmets even one with a sort of Duffle coat!!!

I've e-mailed a few UK Model Shops to see if they stock the Billings Products. The Rigging thread would also be very useful on my AFV's.

Try Dean's Marine in the UK for large-scale ship fittings. Google them and you'll find their web address.

Cheers,

Al

Later: Great boats but didn't have any accessories that I could find - thanks anyway.

Much Later: Thanks everyone for your help. I found a shop in Hull 'Baxters' who stock Billings Boats and they think they can get me the items I'm after,

Skipper, if you hear anymore about 'U Boats' would you post it please, they look to have some good items.

Again, Many thanks to all.

Steve,

Thanks, do you have correct web address? I use DD for payment so if UK based no problem.
