Hi. I'm brand new to the board and hope someone can help. I just picked up Trumpeter's Jeremiah O'Brien from a club raffle and would love to start building. Unfortunately, it's been years since I've tackled a 1/350 scale ship model and could use some help. Does anyone know of any magazine articles or websites (preferably) that deal with the construction of Trumpeter's O'Brien?

Thanks!

Hey Brian,

I don't have it in front of me right now, but there was an article in FSM by our very own Jeff Herne about building the kit. When I get home, I'll let you know which one it was. If you can wait til saturday, I'll scan it for you and email it to ya.

Thanks for the offer Kenny. I actually have that issue (December '05) that has Jeff's article in it. However, it's an article about painting the O'Brien and not building it. I will certainly use it for help in painting but was looking for suggestions on how to go about the building/detailing process.

I have built the O'brien except for the rigging. I got some useful information from a photo gallery at:

Hope this helps.

Great walk around pix. I've had the kit in my stash for a year or so now. I might get around to building it one day. It's just that so many new warships keep coming out that just keep pushing it further and further down the line of ant to builds. ( You should see all the Leopard tanks I have !!!!) :-) :-)

Hi Guys

I know that I am very late on this post, but I had to say it:
Have you forget our own Gallery for Reference?
It appears so...
