I saw this on ebay. Some shop in Hong Kong is selling prebuilt / superdetailed 1 / 144 scale (YOU READ THAT RIGHT !) Yamatos. They even have little people that come with it. Runs for $5500.00 but they also say make an offer. I don't know what shipping would be, but needless to say it is by slow boat.

That is the addy of it, but if it doesn't work, just go into ebay and work through the menu until you have military model kits and get a listing for Yamato. It is in the ebay stores area. LOts of neat detail pix of it.

1:144 isn't too big We use that scale for model warship combat. Imagine picking that Yamato up after a sink, weighing in at 60 pounds, plus 12 gallons of water!!

You know what's sad. For $5500, you can get an aluminum bass boat and trailer. :-) :-) :-)
