Edit:

I've taken her back to the dry dock for a repaint job. Looks a bit streaky and a bit too much weathering for me. Thinking about it I don't think an RN boat in home waters would be so run down looking. I'll leave the pics for now but she will return a slight cleaner and less damaged boat.

AL

Greetings all,

Hope you having an enjoyable rest this Sunday morning. Well the 2nd boat is about done. I'm awaiting two more crew to report on board.

Some pics in the cold light of day so if you spot anything wrong please let me know.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

Some additional items I've been working on. Experimenting with different 'types' of wood :-) :-) :-) Some items are finsihed!!! and some not.

Open the box on the Bedford, but that's as far as I've got. Have a grand day.

Cheers

Al

VERY nice, Alan!
Your attention to detail is superb, mate, as well as spot on!
Keep going, I can't wait to see "Pier 51" start to come together!

Morning Gunny,

Glad you like her, I think she's turned out fairly well. Just awaiting 2 crew from U Models for the upper deck.

Cheers

Al

Alan,

Well I am pleased to say, it has been worth my visit to the 'Floaty wet' side of the hobby. Excellent job mate, every update you produce has shown these central parts of pier 51, to be coming alive nicely.

I look forward to seeing progress, even if you have made me feel flat in that you have had to use staples

Greeting all,

Hi Anti,

Thanks for you comments and glad you enjoyed the pics.

Hi John,

Get that LCM down from the attic :-) :-) :-) :-) , I know you've got one
Someone was going to make me some brackets but the production line went on a go slow :-) :-) :-) - the staples are metal now that's a step forward LOL, LOL. Thanks for all you input mate, it's good to have someone to bounce things off.

Gunny,

Re U Models I was chatting to Rodolphe and made the connection to IWM site for some reference pictures, so we might see some duffle coats sometime in the future - enough said, :-) :-) :-)

Thanks again folks to everyone, the feedback and encouragement is a big help.

Cheers

Al
