Greetings all,

Here's a few shots of the updated crew.

Since I last posted I've added the six small plates to hold the vertical rivets on the hull inside, done a little weathering and added some extra stowage, medicla box, personal gear/wpns and some life jackets.

Some new figures, the Verlinden Signalman, and a couple of old Tamiya Infantry. (Kevin thanks for the old fig).

The craft should now fit the role of rescue boat/command boat and water taxi , as I understand this was their main role when in port.:-) :-) :-) - Radiomans for you Kenny

Excuse the flash, these were taken indoors.

Tom, only option I could think off for the rivets, the upper and lower ones being hidden by the deck and overhang. It should however, make the inside hull a bit more interesting.

Cheers

Al

Cheers Kenny,

I'm really pleased with the way the boat turned out, even managed to add the internal rivets with doing any damage LOL, LOL.

The Verlinden LCM and Beach Party Set are pretty good. The other two figures were extremely tall and I cut their legs and boots down to bring them a bit more into scale with the rest. Both will probably end up on the pier one as an SP or crew master either directing loading or personnel to the boats and the other looking important LOL, LOL.

More later.

Cheers

Al

Hi Ed,

The wakie-takie comes with the figure. He's one of 3 in the Verlinden LCM and Beach Party Set, two of them are VERY TALL :-) :-) :-)

If it's is just radios your after then both Verlinden and Resicast do sets.

Thanks for you commenst and glad you enjoyed the boats.

Cheers
