Well, I went ahead and played the ebay bidding game for one of those wooden ships. I elected to go with their "baby Version which is only 16 inches long as opposed to 38 or so. But hey...I won ...I have the Soliel Royal which was a real elaborate French Ship of the line . and Get this....It cost me $9.99 that's right. Problem is, shipping and handling and insurance were $48. The buy it now price for these little beauties is $89.00 I think I got quite a steal. If it turns out as nice as I think it will, I think I'll shoot for another one. Oh these are wood and they are already built. got the sails and the rigging and all that jazz. I'll post photo after it comes in.
