Almost done with the build. i have some lines to add to the deck, some clutter to add and the stand to finish but other than that it is finally finished.
I hope you enjoy them. This is my first boat model. I used Gator's mask for the numbers and stars. Thanks Gator. They worked out GREAT!

Nice Job, Ed, wish I could have this one in the Military Small Craft Campaign, mate, but unfortunately, you already had her started, mate...but thanks for sharing with us, my friend...BUT, you could still enter the campaign with a different PT boat model now, if you wish~!
Cheers,

Thanks Gunny. This project evolved into more than I though but it was enlightening. I learned how to make molds and cast parts, make my own "Gentleman Jim" nameplate decal, do lots of research, meet some great people and work out a lot of details but the best part was learning the history of this particular boat, reading it's combat logs and best of all, actually talking and getting stories and feedback from one of her surviving crew.

Thanks Gator. Without your masks the markings would have been a royal PITA. With your masks it was almost a "no brainer".
