Update – Trumpeter’s 1/700th HMS Renown 1942 Release

You may recall the previous rumour’s and reports that Trumpeter Models –releasing their 1/700th HMS Renown British Battle Cruiser, 1942.
We understand that this kitset will be available in February 2010 with an approximate retail price of US$39.95.
This is a new tooling and with a product reference for this kitset is 5764.
This 1/700th scale kitset from Trumpeter Models looks to be great with 288 parts on 10 sprues, with a waterline plate, display stand, name plate and two Walrus Mk1 aircraft. The total kit will be over thirteen inches long in length.
We will of course update you as and when more information comes to hand.
