"MSW Crew-member Scot Sims (Brazen) shares a fine gallery of images of the French Battleship Jean Bart at port, Toulon Naval Base, in this MSW "On Display" Feature!"

Model Kit- Trumpeter Models, 1/700 scale Jean Bart, kit # 05752

This is the 1/700 scale Trumpeter model of the French Battleship Jean Bart, alongside at Toulon Naval Base sometime in the mid-1950s. The inspiration for the diorama came from a color photo of the ship in mothballs there.

The warehouses, crane and other vessels are by Tamiya Models, and the vehicles are by Pitroad, but the train and two of the buildings were scratchbuilt.
