The Ships at ScaleModelWorld 2009

Telford Again...

The modeling event highlight, the drive for a full year work is this event!
A chance to meet old friends and make new ones, to see live some of the fabulous works that have been seeing during the year over the internet, get also some new surprises from some of the most skillful ship modelers, make some shopping and most of all, the talks, the fun of being amongst equals makes this THE EVENT.
As usual I and this year with Filipe Ramires (_Admiral_Fil), flew to Birmingham with our display and contest models, and "adventures" started right at the beginning of the trip, on Lisbon Airport X-Ray machine control... "This side up" written on one of the boxes, probably mean tilt it when the owner is not looking!!!
Apart from this, all went strangely well, on schedule, and we arrived as expected at Telford.
So, without further delays, here is the Ship Model Report of ScaleModelWorld 2009
I would like to thank Telford International Center / IPMS-UK for changing the bulb lights on Halls 1 and 2 (white lights) and also to apologize the quality of glass/perspex cased models... they are always tricky to photograph. Even with this issue, I prefer to publish them anyway...
