Anybody up fpr a "Get the Job Done Again" Campaign? Would span the remainder of the year to finish up any started and unfinished kits/dios/figures etc. Any scale, any era, any subject. Just finish up what you started and shelved for whatever reason. I know I got plenty to fill the requirement. What say ye? Thanks, "Q" |

I submitted it for approval with a start date of 16 Feb. While it may not get approved before then, I figured I would give you guys as much time as I could to work on these things. Hopefully we'll be good to go soon. Thanks, "Q" |

Approved.... I normally would like to see a little further push on the start dates, but since this one involves stuff everyone already has....not a problem here. |

Ah, the perfect campaign for a guy with 39 open projects. I'm aboard with two self imposed limits--armor model at least four months on the shelf.
Italeri M47 Patton - 40% (~4 months old) Tamiya T26E3 - 30% (~4 months old) DML Panther F - 65% (>16 months old) DML E100 (modified) - 25% (~6 months old) DML Panzer III - 75% (> 24 months old) Trumpeter E25 (modified) - 60% (> 8 months old) DML Panther D Beobachtungswagen - 50% (> 16 months old)
Anyone want to see one of these built?
Is it appropriate to write a build log for a campaign model or should the log go in the campaign thread?

Since we have the remainder of the year to complete these, post your pics, tell your story, keep us informed, ask for suggestions...etc.etc.etc. Glad you guys are on board with this one. Should prove to be a good opportunity to clear the benches as it were. I set a goal two years ago to finish all my 1/2 finished projects over the winter of 2007. Well, as fate would have it, I made it thru about 30 of them with the rest are still sitting here, so I will be focusing on those. From the looks of it I might make it thru all of them, but the P-61 and the B-26 will be the big ones as I have a lot of work to do on those. If you guys want to BLOG your builds as you go, feel free, or you can just post your progress here in this thread. The 16th is fast approaching..yay. "Q" |

Thanks, but I can't take credit for it. There was already a campaign run titled Get the Job Done and I thought it would be a good idea to continue with the theme. I imagine we could keep it going year after year though, as I know I will surely have more kits that get started and shelved again. Its a nasty cycle... lol. Glad you are enjoying it. Three days and counting guys.... "Q" |
