That's either an Sdkfz 10/4 or Sdkfz 10/5, depending on which version of the 20mm Flak is mounted on the back. I think...

Hi A couple that come close, both older kits by Italeri http://misc.kitreview.com/armourreviews/sdkfz10reviewsp_1.htm http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/it/kit_it_0371.shtml With work and PE they don't look bad in my opinion. Not latest and greatest by todays standards but if you shop around can be brought for a lot less than the latest and greatest. Alan |

Hi
I'd say it was more like the second kit 10/5 but with the additional armour removed. Note on your picture any resemblance of a windscreen etc.is missing, and the bonnet, which I think was also subject to additional armour to help protect crew and vehicle against air attack etc. Maybe it was removed or badly damaged.
Why I say 10/5 is the Flak looks like the later type shown in the 10/5 model and note the covers for the rifles on the front wheel mudguards.
I believe its also available as a Revell kit but I'm pretty sure it's just a reboxing of the Italeri one.
Good luck with the job interview.

I'd also say it's a 10/5, look at the 20mm flak gun shield and compare it with the kit illustrations. The bonnet seems to be missing. That would be a great opportunity to show off the engine.
My example of the 10/5 went together well when I built it some years ago. Didn't particularly like the tracks though.
Good luck on the interview! Cheerio! Stef |

There's a First Look Review of Italeri SdKfz 10/4 by Terry Ashley on PMMS (many parts should be common to both kits) : http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/italeri/it6395.htm Both SKP and JP Hobby have released a Maybach HL 42 engine that was fitted to the SdKfz 10 after 1939. Even if they have been designed for Dragon and AFV Club SdKfz 251s, maybe they could be fitted to Italeri's kit... There are some reviews for these sets on PMMS as well : http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/skpmodel/skp055.htmlhttp://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/jphobby/jphobby35a12.htmHTH Frenchy |

I could, but I'll have to make some first. Not one of my best efforts though, for one thing it's not weathered. You'll have to wait for the weekend though... Cheers! |

Definitely a 10/5, compare it to the Revell Kit of the Sd.Kfz 10/5 . Ignore the waffle about it being a 10/4 because the 10/5 had a 3.7cm or 5cm gun, in the FlaK versions the 10/4 had the older Flak 30, the 10/5 the later Flak 38 and usually armoured, both guns were 2cm. Some of the 10/5s did also had a 3.7cm Pak 36 or 5cm Pak 38 mounted on them. |

Found some unexpected time... As stated before, not one of my best efforts. Maybe because it's German? Here you go: Cheerio! |

It's the SdKfz 10/5 with the 2cm Flak38. I've built it some time ago, you can leave the aditional armor (windscreen) off if you want to make it like on the pic. Use Italeri No371 or the Revell reboxing No3061. |
