If there were no 'lows' to the kit, why a low rating (80)?

You'll have to read through Keith's review, but they are there. He simply didn't include them in the ratings box at the bottom.

There were no lows listed on the submitted review. So, if you take 100 being perfect, which is hard. 90, really good, 80 average, 70 below, etc... I think that is a good rating. The other Zvezda kits I have run acorss, they are very good soild kits, but not always super detailed.

Nasty ejector pin marks along both sides of te hull showing through. That'll take a LOT of work to make them disappear. Otherwise it is good basic kit I think an 80 is a bit high, but within the range of what I thought.

Looks a good solid kit, and for the price well worth it, I am up for one, and the Pontos upgrade.

Hi all,

Seems to me the shape of the bow of this kit is wrong. The rrounding of the inerted ram bow should be submerged. But if you paint your waterline, starting just above the ram all the way to the back, as it should be, it appears that the lower connecting points of the torpedo-net stanchions are below the waterline !!!! I used a peice of plasticard inserted in the bow and putty on both sides to correct the bow.
