I have plenty that will fill the bill on a Racing GB.

Glad you all liked the idea of the movie/TV GB as well. Several years ago we ran one like that in the Modelgeek section. I think that one was TV only though.

You don't have Bowtie Build listed
Seriously, outside of nameplate builds, you've got a fairly comprehensive list there.

And yes only a few builds per year helps. I think I have at least one build 'due' every month until September. That may be more than I can chew.

AGREE on the Chevys for the "Bow Tie Build"... Lotta great Chevrolets, out there...

Great Italian cars deserve a "PS";

HOW COME NO LAMBOS, may I ask..?

Duesenbergs...

My personal favorite "Duesy" is the 1935 SSJ... Only TWO were ever built; one for Gary Cooper, and one for Clark Gable...

Make of that what you will...

Rest assured when we do a Bow Tie GB, that I've got numerous racing Chevies already in the stash.

A Bow Tie GB? That'll give me an excuse to build my 1963 Corvette. Now I just need to find a driver's side mirror for it.

Hi, Jim!

Which scale is your '63 Corvette? I have a few extra 1967-model Corvettes in my inventory. (Wish I had a couple of REAL ONES!!!)

Outside mirrors on Corvette Stingrays, 1963-1967 inclusive, were identical.

Yes, a couple of real Corvettes would ne very nice. The one I'm building is 1/25. It's this kit:

I haven't put a Bowtie in the future Group Builds list because 99% of what I am doing is Chev and with the number of builds I have going I am verging on flooding the forums with it!

The Bowtie brand fits in with the "Big Three" theme that Andy proposed for the USA trio.

That being said, I am more than happy to add a focussed "Bowtie Beauties" theme to the list

Cheers, D

D,
After the Ford GB, I thought that we agreed that it's the Track, Strip Road GB? So that would take us through July 2020. Are we looking past that now? If so I'd really love to have that Great Britton Themed build.

You are correct Joel, the Race theme is next up running April to September 2020, and we haven't gone any further out yet. I would love to do the Great Britain/UK/Union Jack theme as well. I was just talking about adding the Bowtie to the list of potentials for the future.

Cheers, D
