Good stuff. I really like the weathering, rigging and water. The color and wake/ wave effect is fantastic! I think that the frequency and swell disruption really fit.

An excellent model from Mike. Actually, I'd say that the timber looks right and would be pretty heavy duty stuff . Cheers, Rob

I do agree, 100%...I absolutely LOVE the water effect, the subtle colorization is top notch!

Nice stuff, Mike. I especially like the water - very nicely done.

Well I have been looking at it every now and then since this morning trying to pinpoint what it was that I liked about the diorama, and hey, there is an austere feeling about the whole, grey ship, grey sea, rust etc, the ship really looks like one of those anonymous freighters that went down by dozens because of torpedoes, we are far from a Bismark glory here, and the way the diorama is done emphasizes this and I really like that, there is a great whole about the complete scene -and of course the building is excellent! sincere congratulations !

I'm don't know too much about modern sea going vessels, but I know what I like.... and this is seriously one bleeding excellent model!! The ship is excellent, but that sea.... man, that moves me! Awesome work! Rudi

Evocative, and moody, I can taste the salt, top build by a top artist. Cheers, Peter F.

Frank Can you show me a photo to prove the point? Mike[/quote] I don't have any photo's, I was just curious if the cribbing was that thick?

I can only echo what everyone has already said. I think the sea coloring is without a doubt the best I have other seen this side of not being real
