This set is a fine set of catwalks for your USN carriers. These catwalks typically went around the flight deck but this set includes a strip of double railed walkways that can be used on more open areas below the flight deck.

The quality is excellent. You can see the circular perforation on the bottoms of all the walkways and several recessed watertight door sections which were lower that the main level of the catwalk around the flight deck. The set is pretty good and includes a good assortment of most walkway pieces but was to frugal on the corner sections in my opinion. The instructions and diagrams were a big help and made things very clear on using the set.
