Nicely thought out and nicely executed Skipper. I wonder why I can see your photos on my work computer but on most of the other posts I can't.... edit....I just realized it wasn't a post, but a feature. I have no problem seeing the feature photos at work, just the photos that are included in the forum posts.

Thanks guys! This was a "break time" project - without too may PE, or much work with it! I have tried a small curve on the bow wake, as seen on photos, and I think I managed to get it. The masts and radar screens were a fast scatchbuilt task, the most difficult, on the Kilo was to scratchbuilt the glass windon on the bridge! I had to make four of those 2mm x 1mm transparent parts until I get it right, or before it flyes over the living room!! With the P-3 Orion, improvements/ difficulties made/were: - scratchbuilt 4 propellers (one on each set - bad injection); - make the transparent 4 bubble windows; - applying those small decals and hand paint the red line (propeller warning) All in all, was a fun project! I am pleased with the result (and almost fooling Steve Joyce) I am happy that you enjoyed Skipper

Rui, great idea for a small diorama. Very nice effect on the water around the bow of the submarine. Thanks for sharing

Hi Rui! I'll reply here so it won't be off topic on the Tin Cans campaign. This is a really cool diorama! I think I didn't see it because I wasn't really active on MSW at that time and somehow missed it. Your US P-3 is a lot more colorful than my JMSDF version, but I can only use the colors of the real thing. It's also neat how your P-3 scene is with adversaries, while mine is friendly. But anyway, thanks for showing me!

Hi Dade Thanks for the compliments! The US P-3 Orion is really more colorful than the JSDAF one, but still you have made a good job on it! My suggestion would be improving the "bubble windows" with scratchbuild ones (made out of transparent sprue) BZ on your dio Rui
