Ship Of The Quarter #1

Debrieffing...
Well, after a long discussion, the staff of ModelShipwrights have started this contest, in order to promote the ship builders of this and other communities, to join and show their models.

A great expectation has started among us, the staffers, but also in our sponsors and members, some of them new, which proved that this could be one way of making this a good event.

As the first of many, as we hope, some minor flaws occured, like the name of the threads and other small issues, but nothing that could compromisse the event.

Making a comparison with the enlisted members and the final results shown, we got a 20% success in finishing within the time window we made for the completion of the models... Could this be fixed? Do members need one more month to finish the model?

This is the time to hear your needs, after all this is supposed to be fun and with more models finished, the better!
Say your piece, and make this a great event - we need your inputs!

Me and all the staffers and Juri members (Jim Starkweather, Rui Matos, Mark Smith, Dave O'Meara and Kenny Loup) would like to give you a Big Thank You for entering this MSW Event!

The Results...
Since only two models entered the contest part of the event, the Juri got an easy task!

Here are the results:
Second Prize: for Bob Ciconni's (bobcicconi) 1/700 USS Wyoming circa 1903
Honorable Mention: for Frank (wildspear) 1/72 S100 Schnellboot

The prizes...
We had a very juicy level of prizes to distribute amongst the winners. Since this failled to happen, these prizes will be held for SOTQ #2, so no jackpot here!

So, Bob Ciconni will receive a US$50.00 voucher from BattleFleet Models, kindly donated by Harry! Since the Honorable Mention was not in the list for sponsors to provide (only 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes), Frank will receive his prize donated by a Staff member, so that he never give up building ship models!

SOTQ #2
So, Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the chance for you to enter another great ship model contest!
Join in and have fun!
