Malaysian Naval Group Build Photo Report

The Human Factor!
Several times it has been said that (ship) modeling should be Fun! This is the proof that you can make a good display and contest event and still have lots of fun with your friends and visitors! These photos show just that and the faces behind the models we are about to see...

The human factor is a "little detail" that sometimes is just overlooked... models, display stands, all the prepraration of the event and the space were it's going to be held, presents, gift and prizes... all this really is hard to do and this page is my honour to this great bunch of guys that made this event possible!

The members of Selangor and Federal Territory Plastic Modeling Society (SFTPMS) of Malaysia, showed a good level of entries and a good number too, considering that it was the first event! Some very good details can be seen in the models photos, so take some time enjoying these masterworks!
Many thanks to Loo Chee Keong (CKLOO) and Zaidi M.D. (Silantra) for pointing us on this great event!
Congratulations and keep on doing an excellent job, and taking advantage of the backdrop of the event: May the Force be with you!

Just some further info. The whole IJN collection is modelled by one single prolific modeller and this is only a fifth of his ship collection. Unfortunately in the midst of the excitement, I totally forgot to take shots of the entire Pearl Harbour raid party. My salute goes out to our very own Mr. FC Yam
