Looks very nice. Good wave action, and an unusual subject. I like the way the ship is positioned on the base, like its about to sail right off. I take it this is the later TB IJN Sakura? For the fans of the movie Run Silent, Run Deep the Sakura was a member of the Momo class. The "destroyer" that Clark Gable sinks as practice before going after Bungo Pete was a Momo. The Momos were actually listed as torpedo boats, not quite as large as a destroyer.

Thanks for getting them up Mark. Do you still need those closeups? Rodger thanks for the comments. Haven’t seen that movie and I’m not sure of other ships of the same name but this one was a Matsu class destroyer. She was built in November 44 and sank a few months later after hitting a mine.

I should have clarified it, the the Sakura was of the same class as the Momo, both of them were of the Matsu class. Run Silent, Run Deep is a pretty good flick. The book it was based on was much better, as usual, but all in all the movie ain't bad. I recommend it if you get a chance.

Ahoy Jacob Very nice work and nice pictures. I wish my recent IJN Isuzu had turned out anywhere near to this standard. Cheers Sean
