There is a powerful look that these WWI ships have that no other ship has.
Thanks for sharing Jim.

Very nice looking ship. Those old ships just have more class than the new ones do. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic model Jim!
I have to second Rui's comments,... the rigging on Jim's models is incredible. Has Jim ever done a tutorial on rigging ? If not, we should push him to do one. We would all be the better for it.
Thanks for sharing Jim,
Frank

There was one out there, but it's not where it used to be. I'm sure JB can be convinced to post it again!

Jim ...you do great work!
your rigging is impressive as well as your finishing and weathering ....especially the weathering ...you show subtlety there I find most impressive.
I think we all should attempt to coerce you into doing a rigging tutorial
I plan to do the Orel and the Varyag, and I plan to use your work as inspiration..I can only hope mine pull off half as good as yours!!

When it comes to model ship building, some special vocabulary should be invented for Jim Baumann's work -he still has to be bettered at what he does, maybe in a century or 2..

I liked this build so much, I bought the kit, and they're not cheap. It's not just the quality of Jim's builds, it's subject choice as well, always an absorbing lesson.
