Hi Shaun, Great work on bckdating that kit and love tje paint job I am building the kit now, as well. My scene is rather simple: the boat will be tied up to a dock and the crew will be loading stores and working on the weapons prior to getting underway. My dilemma at this point s there are no figure kits suitable for a PT Boat crew in the South Pacific (shorts, shirts off) so that means that I'll have to modify an existing armor set (DML, MB, Tam). I was wondering if you could pass along some info on the figures that you used and how you modified them? Or did you scratchbuild? Steve

Shaun, this sets the bar for Italeri's PT boat. I'll be refering to this regularly for pleasure viewing and when I get around to building mine. Brilliant work !!!!! Glenn

Hello Steve the crew is made up of Tamiya 25lb gun crew , Dragon Tarawa US marines, Dragon Afrika Korp , ADV US Marine Howitzer Gun crew ( think have been reissued under the label Bofor's gun crew) & U- Models pt crew. Most have had new heads from Hornet & repositioning of limbs. I used these figures mainly due to the fact that they mostly are wearing shorts. I'll see if I can add some more pictures some time. ( in the process of moving home at the moment ).

Hi Shaun, Thanks for the reply. I ordered the ADV set and I think I'll get one figure from U Models. I need either an officer or a Chief Petty Officer, and the U models figs will fit the bill nicely. Steve
