Kenny (Gator) Loup took a recent trip to The Live Oaks Civic Center, in Live Oaks, Texas, to the Alamo Squadron IPMS/USA Region 6 annual event, ModelFiesta, Number 27, and shares some of the show's highlights with us!



ModelFiesta is the longest running annual modeling event in IPMS Region 6...The first ModelFiesta was held in Wonderland Mall, now called Crossroads Mall, in 1981 and has been held each year since that first contest. The contest has grown in size and quality since its early days and now averages over 120 vendor tables and about 500 - 700 models entered in the contest each year. This years event was held on February 16, 2008 at the Live Oak Civic Center, in Live Oak, Texas, and from the looks of these images, there was a nice turnout in the shipwrights category!
