Very cool. The water looks excellent, as does the U-boot.

Thanks alot mates, very kind. Even if I have been pestering you with this model in the blog, its allways nice doing a MOD, as it gives oppertunity to do more pictures, and its nessesary to work more with the quality of the pictures. I“m considering cutting the base a little smaller, about one cm all the way round, mostly to reduce the size for practical reasons, but allso to get a tighter composition and get rid of the sinkmarks along the edge from the drying gel. I am currently taking a break from the wet element as I am waiting for some orders to arrive, but I will be back (with austrian accent ) for the camouflage campain with a VII C in 1:72 if not before Cheers/Jan

Wonderful to see it all come together in such an incredible way! I love the mood and feel of the scene that the high quality work brings.

*YES* that's a good one Jan, a great one even! maybe my prefered of your works, armour included. That's those colours that just blend together in the most harmonious way, and I really like the dark threatening wooden poles whiom I think give a kinda symbolic light to your dio (ok, well, i might be the only one to find that out). All in all, great model, great sea, great painting, really, i only have compliments for your work! keep on, you prove you can be creative at this scale too!

Hi Jan, Excellent build, this one looks very much alive, the figures add a lot to the scene as does the lone mooring poles suggesting the start of a harbour?. I like the colour and texture of your water, went to have a look at the blog but the link isn't working!! Great use of the colour as jba says it blends very well together. Excellent stuff. Al
